The venue has served as the filming location for many films, including Fast Five from the Fast & Furious franchise, Jurassic Park III, The Nutty Professor II, Forgetting Sarah Marshall, Bruce Almighty and Pirates of the Caribbean as well as such classic television shows as “Murder She Wrote” and “Knight Rider.”

With its grand, versatile space, towering 27 foot tall ceilings, iconic catwalks and theatrical lighting, Sound Stage 29 can be transformed to accommodate virtually any themed event.

For large scale events, Universal Studios Hollywood offers clients the choice of full or partial theme park buyouts, including exclusive after-hours access to its award-winning thrill rides and attractions.  Working closely with the park’s dedicated Special Events team, groups can customize their buyout to include red carpet arrivals along the park’s grand entrance, themed in-park dining experiences, extensive branding throughout the event space, and personalized keepsake lanyards.
